EP Risk has extensive experience in the assessment and management of sites impacted by potential acid sulfate soils (PASS) and actual acid sulfate soils (AASS).
- We try to optimise time and resources spent during site investigations to also develop an understanding of AASS and PASS.
- Assess the extent of PASS by outlining the requirements of preliminary field testing
- Assist the client in development of easy to follow Acid Sulfate Soil Management Plans (ASSMP) outlining the correct dewatering methods and procedures for treatment, management and validation of PASS found at a site.
- Properly managed and treated PASS has the potential to remain on site as fill, thus reducing waste disposal costs.
